Being a stay-at-home mom and having a single income family, there have been some tough economic times. During those times, I realized it was possible to earn quick cash to make ends meet by consigning my children’s items that were no longer used. This is when I discovered Seasonal Consignment Sales Events!
My first sale I decided to sell 100 items from just “one” of my children’s closets (clothes, toys, shoes, etc.). On the first day of the sale, I sold 75 items. The next day, an additional 12 items sold. Wow, 87% of my items sold in two days and I received my check in a week! I loved the fact that 13 items were donated to charity. This was awesome! I was fascinated by the process, it was easy and exciting. A great way to make some money quickly, at the prices I set, and reinvest the earnings into what the kids needed for the next season. All while helping the environment and community at the same time. Really SMART!
Not having a local seasonal consignment sale event in my own community, Round Around We Grow was born. It is an amazing opportunity to shop for a great variety of gently used items that are safe, clean, and quality checked by moms for bargain prices. Kids grow so fast, and most children’s items are only used for a short time, participating in consignment sales events is beneficial. These events benefit all family members: parents, grandparents, and aunt/uncles too. Additionally, after each sales event, all items unsold will be donated to local charities in need within the area.
